Life Journey:

Married too young in 0966 and started my working career in 1966. Moved from one to another low paying job until 1968 when I hired on at Southern California Edison as a power plant operator during a strike at Pacific Telephone. 1970 saw me divorced but I remarried in 1971.
Moved to the nuclear part of the power industry at San Onofre in 1971 where I earned my senior operator license from the NRC. 1978 saw me on strike again at San Onofre and I hired on at Illinois Power Company for a power plant they had under construction near Clinton Illinois.
At the Clinton station I participated in the startup testing and ultimately as a supervisor with a new senior operator license from the NRC at that plant. Over the years I filled many roles and shortly before retirement I was active in scheduling the refueling outages to optimize the work flow and help minimize the down time for the plant.
