I went to Fullerton JC for two years before getting married.I worked for the phone company downtown Anaheim, and had my first two childrenTim and Trevor there in Anaheim. My Father was an LA City Fireman and my first husband Timothy Wuerfel got on the Fire Department in Bend Oregon. We moved there, in 1974 but that marriage could not withstand the loneliness, lack of family nearby. After my only brother Bill Piest( class of Savanna 1968) was killed in a tragedic automobile accident driving back to Anaheim from Bend my first marriage ended and I too returned to Anaheim. I met and married the love of my life, also another LA City Firemen, Terry Cooper. Who's step-Father that raised him was also an LA City Fireman. We have a son together Jared. We moved to Huntington Beach in 1977 and continue to reside in that same hous, twice remodeled. I was able to stay home with my boys until they graduated High school. They played lots of sports went off to Colleges and now they like our generations past are all three LA City Firemen. Two just made Captain and the other one will in December. I went to work doing catering which led me to have my own Floral/ event company. I did a lot of Corporate events including a lot of work with USC and the President of USC. I decided when my Grandson was born that I no longer wanted to work that hard, physically and always on weekends and special occasions so I gave up that business. I have been known to do a wedding or two or family party now and then. My husband retired from the Fire Department 5 years ago after 37 years and now we basicallyTravel and watch our two new Granddaughters. One of them is in Seattle so we spend a great deal of time going there. We also have a place in Lake Arrowhead and Mammoth Lakes. We still get in as much Snow Skiing as we can during the winter in Mammoth. Life has been very rewarding and I am truly blessed with Great health and a wonderful Family.

My US History Teacher Mr. Jeter. I can still remember like it was yesterday walking in his class shortly after President Kennedy was assassinated and him just slumped over the Podium for practically the entire class.

Senior Prom, I invited my oh so handsome US Marine boyfriend. He later became my first husband.

Myself and Marilyn Young drove up to San Francisco to visit Pati Palombi who was in Dance school up there by ourselves. We took a rode trip to I thin Yosemite or maybe Lake Tahoe and my oh so ugly 1964 Corvair caught on fire. My Dad loved Corvairs and I hated that car. I had to keep a 50lb sack of a Chicken feed in the front Trunk to keep the wheels on the Road??
