1 year at Long Beach State. US Army 1967 -1971 Nike Hercules Air Defense Missile sites (California, Korea, Texas) Kathy and I got married 1973. We lived in Anaheim, Fullerton, Cerritos, and Chino. During that time we had our 3 kids and they grew up in Chino. Graduated from Chaffey College in 1981 with a degree in Management. 1996 We move to Omaha, NE because of a company move. We do enjoy living in Nebraska, but do miss many things about California. I am planning to work until 2019 and then retire (work part time) and enjoy the Grand kids. Well the part time working (30 hours a week) is still going on. It will probably be 2021 before I retire.


Well it was March 5, 2025 when I retired. Worked 57 years. Going to enjoy my time now.


Not much has change in the last year except working from home. I am still working 30 hours a week as a Quality Assurance Software Analyst. Working keeps me busy. With the pandemic and the restrictions, I enjoy getting out even if it is to go to the store or drive through Scooters Coffee. Really miss being with the Grandkids, but being safe so we are staying home. Retirement might be late 2021 or later. I work for a great company (Moody's Analytics) They treat their employees very well. I get a phone call about once every 5 weeks from a Senior VP asking how I am doing and what they can do better. It is great getting a call and not a form letter email. Looking forward to a better 2021.

Well another work update is I am still working part time (30 hours a week) as a QA Software Analysis at Moody's Analytics. Enjoy getting up and working. I will probably go to mid 2022 the good Lord willing. Kathy and I had our 48 wedding anniversary in May. I know to many of my Rebel classmates that makes me still a rookie. The grandkids are growing up Nate is 19, Jade is 9 (she is doing community theatre) and Drew is 5 (he does infomercials on dental hygiene and how to exercise) They both put on little plays when they come over.

Mr. Simons my electronics teacher. Mr. Jeter - I was in his class when they announced that President Kennedy had died.

Being on the football and tennis team. I would also say graduating was great too.

Being stationed near San Francisco (1967 -1969) I would go to Fillmore West and see many great bands. Two of the biggest were Jefferson Airplane and the Doors. I also saw Jimmy Hendrix at Winterland (SF) in 1968.

I work construction to save money for college. It was also a learning lesson from my Dad to motivate me to go to college and get an education so I wouldn't have to do that type of work
