After graduating from Savanna, my family moved to Carpinteria Ca. From there I went to college at Brigham Young University. I was only there a year and a half at which time I went on a Mission for the Latter Day Saint Church to Brazil. It was quite the experience. I learned Portuguese and baptized a lot of people to my faith. I was there 2 years and returned home to Riverside Ca. Went to work for First American Title where I stayed for 3 years. Went back to Brigham Young and graduated in 1973 with a business degree. I used that to go to work for Florsheim Shoe company. I managed stores for them I Utah and was then asked to move with company to Boston Ma. While there I started snow skiing and went skiing in Stowe Vt. I found a Bed and Breakfast there that was for sale and purchased it. It is nothing like the Bob Newhart portrayed on television. But it was a very enjoyable experience. Met many wonderful peo
I remember the days in school orchestra playing the Bassoon and the Clarinet. And being in the Band for halftimes at football games and the parades where we won many awards. I especially enjoyed Madrigal and Acapella choirs.
The day President Kennedy was killed was a very sad day and I vividly remember it coming over the loud speaker in History Class. I was a nerd in school before we knew what it was so therefore I didn't have too many school friends most of my friends lived in the tract I lived in.
I was a big Beatles fan. Also the Beach Boys and The Everly Brothers. The Kingston Trio were also favorites as well Bob Dylan, Joan Baez Didn't watch much TV but do remember Gunsmoke, The Rifleman and Bonanza.
