Life Journey:

graduated 65, drafted 66. Joined Air Force instead, spent 2 years in Ill. and 2 yrs in Hi, surfed the North Shore mainly. 1970 graduated from Airlines Schools Pacific and worked for Air California at Orange Co. Airport and was Customer Service Manager at San Francisco Intr'l Airport. Left the airline industry during deregulation and got what was supposed to be a temporary job with the Post Office. I started as a clerk and worked my way into maintenance. USPS sent me to various courses at their Technical Training campus in Norman Ok. At 55 retired from USPS along about the same time I retired from being a NCAA umpire. Enrolled at American Career College, graduated 2004 with a pharmacy license. Retired for real this time at present anyway. Do volunteer work at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital in Out Patient Rehab which fits nicely with my experience as a group fitness and aerobic instructor. Life is GOOD!!!!!

Most Memorable Moment at School:

Senior year, assigned parking spot 1st row in front of sophomore quad. We had been partying the night before. I was in the sophomore quad area visiting when one of my friends pointed to my 56 Chevy and began laughing. Apparently I or someone had hidden a six pack of Coors in front of my radiator and behind the grill and you could see it very plainly. Needless to say I made a beeline to my car and re-hid the contraband.

Here we are at Drake Stadium after the women's soccer match. It was a great game with a not so great ending. UCLA lost to Stanford 3-2 in the second overtime period.
