Four years in the USAF. 18 months in Turkey. "Bull Runner"! Spent a lot of time in Istanbul and the Princess Islands. BA in Psychology, from CSULB. 28 years with the OCSD. Retired as a Sgt. My 13 grandchildren are my most precious accomplishment. But I had some help!!!

Graduating! I wasn't much interested in school at the time. My future wife, Laurie, motivated me to get my sh.t together. I graduated with some kind of honors, at LBCC and CSULB. But what do you do with a BA in Psych, so I became a cop. Best decision I ever made, other than marrying my wife! My goal in high school was to get a 40 hour a week job and surf! Ambitious, huh!?!??!

The Beach Boys, of course!! I did not watch much TV. I worked part time, saw my future wife, as much as my Dad would give me the car, and climbed out my bedroom window, and stole the family car, when he wouldn't! My Dad said he reported a stolen car, a couple of times but I don't think he did!

I worked construction. I started at Fullerton JC, in the Fall, and I knew I was done with school. I was tired of it! I talked to an Air Force recruiter, who said I could be a ParaRanger and jump in after downed pilots. The Alpha Hotel lied to me. Imagine that!?!?!? I ended up in Intelligence and sent back to school. They had an unhappy Airman, and for four years, the Air Force knew it!
